How does the eQualify soft pull system work?
When a consumer reaches a website, they often click around once or twice and leave the site. With our soft credit pull system, dealers capture visitors via a five-line short form on their website and also instantly receive a full credit report from Experian (the form can be directly linked from their social media accounts as well). According to NADA, the shorter the finance application, the better chance of them filling it out. eQualify online offers a quick five-line form that does not require social or date of birth. Studies have shown that consumers are more likely to complete a form when there is less intrusive information asked of them. Lastly, the consumer is notified that a soft pull inquiry will be used and it will not affect their credit.
On the back end, in real time, we deliver a full credit report on the consumer to the dealer. The benefit to the dealer is simple... online soft pulls help sell more cars! This is because the sales staff can follow up on the captured lead and choose how to proceed to finance them. If they have a low credit score they can choose to never call them back, tell them to bring all cash, or find a cosigner.
